The evening finally came and Mike was there early to get set up and to get the party started. Mike kept the flow going just as planned and not to mention flawlessly. In the past, our staff doesn’t always dance a lot. However, on this night, they literally danced all night. They loved the music choices that Mike played.

I did a google search to find a DJ for our wedding and Mike Smith was one of the first listed, I then did a search on him and found nothing but incredible reviews. A week or so later my husband and I met with him and instantly knew he was the right choice. Mike was the first DJ we had met with and turned out to be the best choice we could have made. He is very experienced, very decently priced, organized, personable, professional, fun, and incredibly talented. He worked on every single little detail with us until we were completely happy and covered every base to meet our needs. The day of our wedding he kept people entertained, kept in communication with us regarding the schedule and any changes, and helped us throw an amazing party. From the time that I signed Mike on to be the DJ for our Wedding, until the end of the Wedding day, he was absolutely amazing! Mike is the perfect combination of professional, organized, punctual and lots of fun!!!! His demeanor and industry knowledge are a perfect combination to work with. I had quite a few requests for songs that were off the “beat and path” and he did an amazing job at finding them, making the day so much more special because of it. Mike did such a fantastic job as our wedding DJ! Prior to our wedding, we had two sit down meetings with Mike to discuss all our DJ wants and needs. He was very organized, professional, and always arrived on a timely manner. He was very quick to respond to all our emails in regards to the wedding and any last minute changes we had. He even drafted up a timeline for us, which saved us a lot of stress. There are not enough words to describe how pleased we were with Mike’s performance as our DJ. He was very personable, has a phenomenal speaking voice, and he definitely knows how to get the crowd dancing. From the ceremony to the reception, everything went smoothly, thanks to Mike! Throughout our wedding night, we had numerous guests come up to us to compliment the DJ. Our caterer even called us after the wedding to get Mike’s number. Mike is worth every penny and more. Simply put, Mike is the all-around DJ you’re looking for. He’s a professional at making sure your guests are having a great time, and that you’re getting exactly what you want. He was thorough from start to finish – regular Skype meetings at our convenience, understanding what “other songs like that” meant for our play/do not play lists, checking in with us at key parts of the night and keeping the whole wedding running smoothly while we had a little distraction from another vendor. I would hire him again for any event and think you’ll feel the same.

We can not begin to thank you enough for being so amazing throughout our wedding planning process!

We planned our wedding from Indianapolis, Indiana. It was April (our wedding was June 11, 2011) and we already secured a DJ… The DJ started NOT returning calls/emails/voice mails… So we decided to forfeit our deposit and find a new DJ and BOY ARE WE GLAD WE DID!

Mike is incredibly personable, genuine, down-to-earth, no-BS with a touch of Hollywood in him. If you decide to talk to him, the first thing you’ll notice is that he has an amazing voice! To go along with that voice he was able to work with us to accommodate our “eclectic” music style; I’m in love with country music and my husband likes top 40 and hip-hop. Mike did an AMAZING job blending the music and it flowed SO well and was NOT choppy at all.

Mike is the TOTAL PACKAGE!!! About a month before my wedding one of my bridesmaids asked about my DJ. I referred her to him and she had one more DJ to interview after Mike… within the day she decided to go with Mike.

We thoroughly enjoyed working with Mike and hope to work with him again in the future!

We could not have asked for a more professional, polite or organized DJ for our wedding. No matter how strange my requests for ceremony music, DJ Mike found it and had everything ready. I didn’t have to worry about a thing. He worked very hard to make sure everything ran smoothly before and during the wedding. It helped me to feel calm and in control as he checked in with me throughout the night. He even helped me make a few decisions when I felt stuck choosing songs. Everything turned out perfectly! First, I wanted to say thank you. You did an absolutely fantastic job at our wedding and Lindsay and I couldn’t be happier. You have such a great ability to connect with the audience and since have received many compliments from our guests. Thank you so much for your hard work and keeping us involved with every aspect of your planning.

Secondly, your organization and communication was outstanding. We really appreciated your planning sessions, both the face-to-face in Auburn, and via Skype (since we live in Southern Cal). Your planning sheets covered all important segments of the ceremony and reception which allowed us to choose the atmosphere we wanted to create. It allowed us to plan effectively so that nothing caught us by surprise.

I enjoyed picking the song selections with you during our planning session. Your library of music is so extensive. I feel that we have similar tastes in music which made the session very enjoyable. Lots of laughs.

And lastly, your attitude and professionalism. You were punctual, well mannered, and considerate of our agenda. You catered to our needs, and never lost sight that this was our special day. We made a great decision to choose you as our wedding DJ.

Mike was the DJ for our wedding on April 16, 2011 and he did a fabulous job. We had two meetings before the wedding, one via skype, and exchanged countless emails. Prior to the wedding Mike did a great job of helping us organize our timeline/itinerary and gave us a lot of helpful suggestions on the order of events. He had a huge library of music, everything we asked him to play he already had, and he also provided song suggestions when we needed them. The day of the wedding Mike did a perfect job, he managed to keep things running and get the crowd moving without being cheesy. I do not hesitate to recommend Mike as a DJ for any event!

Mike met with us prior to the wedding to discuss music specifics and our wedding night timeline, and on the wedding day – he performed exactly as planned… even better. Mike was phenomenal. New to the Rocklin area, we were not sure where to begin looking for a DJ to play at our son’s 18th birthday. With about a week’s notice, Mike was available. We provided a play list of requested songs and he was able to include in the music played at our event. Mike’s was prompt, setup was quick, and he ensured he kept a room of 40 guests dancing until the party ended. We will definitely be using Mike’s services again. My high school alma mater recently held a reunion – ranging from the class of 2000, 1990, 1980 and a few classes in between.
